Still requires a lot of improvements
When I saw this was being offered at a discount, I decided to give it a go. After working with it for a while, I must say that I would never buy it at the full price of $80 because at that price point one would expect something far more polished than this.
- chunks of gray background in dictionary entries simply disappear if you click on them.
- also, if you accidentally double-click on an empty area in an entry, itll open a new window saying "no translation found for " ".
- If you open a word-form window for a word that is both a noun, a verb, etc., these headers will not fit into the small window, apparently the authors never heard of word-wrap. A funny example is the russian translation for the word "star - it has four headers, all being "noun"
- The scroll bar as well as some other areas look outdated in OS X Lion.
- NEW BUG FOUND: if you translate any word into a particular language, say English to French, you get a separate window with the translation. If you change the target language for the same word, you still get the old window with the French translation, so you have to specifically close that window first. Pretty annoying in a fast workflow.
So generally the content is ok, but the annoying little bugs give you the feeling of an unfinished beta version.
